Remodeling The Facade

The new upper facade.
This is how all of the individual pieces look on a flat background. The top half of the casket front is not flat. A great deal of thought and planning has gone into how I can mount each piece to the wood casket when the time comes. There are still several edges to be finished on the actual embroidery as well as additional pieces to be stitched that will be pasted to the edges at the end.
The old upper facade. The original plan had been to embroider on top of the white window surrounds.

But I knew the white trim was never going to make me happy!

I am happy now.

  1. Dear Margaret and Anna,
Thank you. It's funny how you can look at something and think" That's OK" but you know it isn't. But when it is right you just get giggly all over!

  2. It's easy to see why it makes you happy…it is the stitched essence of happiness and makes me want to smile with it's confectionary state of LOL! Elisabeth in CT
