I was so lucky to know Linda Eaton. She is the woman in the middle of the photo above. The woman on the right is Tricia Nguyen, the mastermind behind the Cabinet of Curiosities, and the reason Linda and I met.
Linda approached me out of the blue one evening with an email inviting me to exhibit my casket at Winterthur. WOW! After I accepted, spoke to Linda via email, and calmed down I had to thank Tricia for making this happen. She downplayed her involvement at the time but I knew she had made it happen.
And then I got to know Linda. Oh our friendship was way too brief.
I just learned this morning that Linda died last night.
Linda had an Indianapolis connection. We often spoke about her coming to visit my studio and having time to get to know each other better. It never happened.
So I will treasure what little I time I had with her. I feel that I only knew a tiny little bit about a woman of enormous talent, energy and creative enthusiasm. Here is one link to more about Linda .
