I worked the scalloped edge around the heart in two shades of blue. I used a blanket stitch.
I used 4 shades of red around the blue scallops. I knew this was going to interfere with my original drawing but I loved the way the colors looked.
To accommodate my changes I drew a new border. The original border was very wonky. That is exactly the way it came out of my notebook. The two bottom corner designs I can work as drawn. The top three triangles I will have to modify.
Almost there!
But then, modifying something as you go can be part of the fun, can't it!
Absolutely!
I have just disacovered your blog today. I am thankful that I did. I have been searching the net for all things needlework and/or Arts & Music to put into a newsletter for my stitch group to entertain them during quarentine and I am glad I can add your blog to the list. The group will greatly enjoy it and it will be a confort during these times. Thank you for your beautiful work.
