Fun! My dad has had bees for about a year now, and so far it's just been about keeping them alive through the drought, but now one of the bigger hives looks like it might produce some extra honey for us. We were out admiring them after dinner last night.
We had LOTS of honey last year! And some beautiful bees wax.
This is something that I really want to do …but ….it is so expensive and it seems that one needs to have everything right from the start .
The funny thing though is that we had a honeybee swarm from my kitchen extension roof a few weeks ago !
Anyway ..well done you..and one day I WILL keep bees : )
