Mountain Tops

The Golden Rule Mountains have been backed with paper and cut away from the background fabric.

The straight edges will be covered with my cloud-like needlelace border. But the mountain top edges had me stumped.

Until I wrapped this beautiful new trim along the edge.

Just what the edge needed!

Embroidered Illustrations

Bubbledom is one of the destinations in The World of Possibilities. So of course it will have an embroidered panel on the outside of the casket.
But all of the different places you see on the casket exterior will have an illustrated story on the inside.
I have already made a miniature version of my Red House Book and it fits in the upper section of the casket. It is 4 1/4" x 7". Each book will be that size.

So these two embroideries will be in the little book describing Bubbledom.

It is a toy shop.

This is a different 'view' of Bubbledom. It is also one of the drawings I shared with you last December

Casket Doors Update!!!

Claire's door is finished!

The border will be red to match the exterior of the Red House embroidery above the doors.

Here are some detail shots.

The little blue bird in her cage.

And I have started work on William's door.

This is a digital mock-up of how the facade of the casket will look.

My Personal Stitcher Finishes Another Piece!

Claudia, my personal stitcher, (aka my little sister) has finished her SAL.
I love the buttoned up hearts!
And this color scheme is stunning.

Have you finished your SAL?
If you send it, I'll share it.

And coming up later this week, a long overdue update about my own stitching.

And Another SAL Finish

My mother just finished her SAL too! I love the soft pastel colors and her happy chirping birds.
I have all of the finished SALs together on the SAL page.
