  1. My mother is an oil painter; she's done some portraits and says it's very frustrating to see how barely a hair's breadth difference can turn a simper into a snarl – even when the face is eight inches high!

  2. Thanks Rachael. That was my daughter's favorite as well. I decided she was too child like for the character I had in mind for the casket door so she is being replaced! Poor baby. She'll probably show up in a different embroidery at a different time. Can't wait to see what new ideas you are talking about for the new year.
