A Very Little Doll

After many attempts I have come up with a dolly design to use on the outside of the casket as well in some scenes on the inside.
The edge is wired so I can pose it just a little.

Three's the Charm

Our daughter Jane had the third surgery we all hoped she wouldn't need. It was on Tuesday. Now she is doing VERY WELL, and will be home this afternoon!

A Favor Dear Readers

I am at a point in my life and in my work where I would enjoy sharing my embroidery with a larger audience. TAFA is
the Textile and Fiber Arts List  and is currently running an online embroidery contest. Here are my two entries.
I would love to have your support!
Scroll down on this page and click on the embroidery you want to vote for.

These are the two images I have submitted.
Many thanks.

Stitched Tunnel Books

Making stitched tunnel books is still an experiment for me.
This view shows their construction a little clearer and just how much they can expand.
I have more ideas to try.

Playing In The Water

Here is the Mermaid's grotto in the Golden Rule Mountains. The Bubbles rising out of the water will continue on the panel above.
This is for the side of the casket above the panel of the Princely Dragon.
And yes, the mountains do extend beyond the edge of the frieze. They will be freestanding to balance the windows on the casket front.

Inside the casket works continues. Each drawer will contain its own little world.

Stitched as a tunnel books this one is a fanciful boat sailing on a moonlit night.
