A Macaroni

Every community of country house dolls needs its own Macaroni.

I love his ponytail! And the little swagger in his hips.

He is a 6 inch doll which translates as a 6 foot man in the dollhouse world of 1"=1'.

The Dragon Prince 2 Ways

The Dragon Prince Doll has been almost done for over 2 years. Last night I spent another hour working on him.
I think his embroidered counterpart, stitched for my casket, captures his mean spirit and greed much better.

Dolly Sisters

Two sisters. The shoes are charms from an embroidery shop. Just right for my child sized dolls.
Big sister.

Dolly's New Clothes

Here is a close-up of the dolly I stitched in Florida this past March. You can see her jacket is completely separate from her dress.

Now I Have Two Samovars

All the dollies have been asking for tea. So I made a samovar for them. Glued a few bits and pieces together, sprayed it gold.

A real Russian samovar on the left with my new mini version on the right.

And up close.

Tea time.
