I found a bag of embroideries that I think will make Great Wall hangings in my cardboard castle. But I didn’t like the colors. Markers fixed that.
The photos show the new colors first and the pinky before colors in the later photos.
Markers Can Solve Anything
I *like* the new colors – richer and more… luxurious(?). The originals were nice, though the pink/blue combination says 1980s to me, when everything under the sun was either country blue, country rose, or a combination of both. And no internet to go searching for other options if you happened to not like those 2 choices. Or that they had faded to those colors from the new colors you made them.
I'm thinking you used a light touch, using repeated layers, so the colors didn't bleed out to the other areas or linen? Also, what kind of markers did you use?
