My SAL is finished!
I finished the border with the same dark blue as the sky. I knew I wouldn’t have enough to finish the border and I knew I wasn’t about to run to the store to buy a skein, so I used a darker shade for 2 rows inside the edge.
This shows the two blues better.
The three green lines at the bottom of the heart looked unfinished to me so I added little red tulips to the tops of the ‘stems’.
In an earlier post I said the design was straight out of my notebook. I misspoke. Here is the actual original drawing.
I don’t remember when or why I made the changes.
