CESP 13

Where has August gone?
So little progress to share.

But I am very happy with the spider web.

CESP 12

I chose to scan my embroidery this morning. Not sure if it is better or worse, just different. The far left end of the embroidery is moving right along. And I have this wonderful space to the right of the birdhouse that is just waiting for a new character.

The pink and purple flower.

Can you spot the mushrooms?

Drooping flowers.

The owl.

The squirrel, reading before bed.

Embroidery Supplies from a Fly Fishing Shop

Now Showing: Embroidery Supplies from Park's Fly Fishing Shop in Gardiner, MT. This great tiny town is located at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Fly Shop is run by Robert Parks and the Gardiner Bed and Breakfast is run by his wife Nanc.
I highly recommend both.

I was hoping to find something new to stitch with or at least use in my stitching. One small part of the side wall was heaven!

5 colors of chenille without buying huge skeins.

And centipede legs? In three colors? Who knew?
And I haven't taken pictures of the feathers yet!

CESP 11

I've added another 'birdhouse' to the left end of my crewel embroidery. I love the house, but I wanted to make sure it read as being behind the leaves not in the same plane.
That is not a problem, in fact adding more leaves and texture is the fun part of this work.

This view might make the 3D aspect more apparent.

Another over all view with the left edge finally defined.
