Slow and Steady

Aesop's Fables are the theme of my next casket. In the story of the Red House, Claire and William run a puppet theater of fables.

The colors look rather gloomy. We haven't seen the sun in days.
But the colors glow in real life and when I get better photos I'll share.

  3. Great tortoise! I have a fairy tale casket planned for one of mine, featuring fairy tales from all the countries I've visited, as well as some of my favorites. Really need to get started on it...

  4. The scaly looking legs and his stretched out neck look just like a tortoise and the colours are beautiful.

    1. It was fun to study tortoises and figure out how to best portray him in thread.

  5. As usual Janet it's stunning when to know is this part of your creation on the machine or is this all still hand done

  6. You are a fabulous embroidery artist. I have thought of joining the casket project, but I doubt I would ever finish it and it would be a waste of something that could become beautiful art.
Thank you for sharing your fabulous work. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
