Embroidery, The World of
Possibilities and the Casket Chronicles
Your work is just so enchanting. So intricate.Looking forward to seeing the rest.I have had a challenging week sweating over making mitred corner bindings for my wall hangings.Stitching doesn't come naturally to me.
Why is it when I see your fabulous work, I think that I would gladly take even your reject pieces - even though I'm sure you don't have those.Smiles,JoeyLeahttp://thelocustblossom.blogspot.com/
Those are some really nice wings! Great colors, detail, and texture.
yu have made a great start on the angel
So these wings are not stitched on the fabric? Or am I seeing the piece wrong.
Hi RoseMary,Yes, the wings are first stitched on fabric, then I glue the edges, trim away the excess background, then finish stitch around the edges. In the previous post you can see pieces cut out but not finished stitched.Janet
